Apple Chairman and CEO Steve Jobs was said to have a heart attack, which caused Apple stock to quickly drop in the early Nasdaq trading. But a spokesperson for Apple reported that Steve Job’s heart attack was only a rumor. Well, that’s good news, but you wonder how these rumors get started?

Steve Jobs reportedly had a heart attack but thankfully this was only a rumor. Apple’s spokesman, Steve Dowlings said that the rumor was not true, and stocks quickly rebounded.

The heart attack rumor seemed to begin by a website considered a “citizen journalist site”, that stated that Steve Jobs had been rushed to the hospital after suffering a massive heart attack.

Steve Jobs was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer just four years ago and is now said to be cancer free. But Steve Jobs has lost quite a bit of weight, which has made people think he could still be sick. But Jos said he is working on these issues that were related surgery.

Jobs, 53 year is well-known for his unique personality. Fortune magazine has stated that Jobs “is considered one of Silicon Valley’s leading egomaniacs.”

Well, it’s good to hear that Steve Jobs is alive and well, and that he did not suffer a massive heart attack.
