1970’s Singer Eric Carmen was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving Tuesday night, police said. Carmen slammed into a fire hydrant and was charged with DUI. Singer of hits such as “Hungry Eyes”, “All By Myself” and “Go All The Way”. See Eric Carmen pictures and arrest video below.

Eric Carmen, 1970’s singer, also performed with Raspberries, was hitting the Grey Goose pretty hard and got wasted. Carmen slammed into a fire hydrant and was arrested for DUI.
Carmen was so trashed that he handed the police a credit card when asked for his driver’s license. Oops!
Officers said Carmen, 59, of Gates Mills, was charged with DUI and failure to control his vehicle after crashing his Range Rover into a fire hydrant in front of Beechmont Country Club on Chagrin Boulevard in at around 7 p.m.
Eric Carmen had a blood alcohol level of .234, three times the legal limit. Ohio law states that a blood-alcohol level of 0.08 percent is considered drunk. So this dude was wasted!
Carmen was released from the Bedford Heights Jail on $500 bond.
You might remember Eric Carmen with the Rapsberries, as well as his solo career in the late 1970’s. Some of his well known songs are “All By Myself,” “Go All the Way” and “Hungry Eyes”.
Eric Carmen was arrested in March 2007 in Gates Mills. Carmen pleaded no contest the charge. The latest case is still under investigation.
