Marisol Nichols of television’s “24″ gave birth to a baby girl on Tuesday morning. The baby was named Rain India Lexton.
Little Rain was born at 2:18 a.m., weighing 7 lbs., 5 oz. This is the first child for Marisol and Taron.
“[Taron] wanted a girl first,” Nichols told Us Magazine in August. “We both thought it would be a girl and when we found out. We were like, ‘Yay!’ It was one of the greatest feelings.”
Marisol Nichols, plays Nadia Yassir on the hit Fox show “24″, said she and her husband had been discussing baby names.
“We have two that we’re in love with,” she said. “We’re not saying a because we can’t decide and b) because we’re waiting to meet her so we can go, ‘She’s this’ or ‘She’s that.’”
Marisol Nichols and Lexton married in a ceremony at the Church of Scientology’s Celebrity Center in L.A. in April.
“We’re newly weds!” Nichols told Us. “We’re stupidly in love. We always make jokes that if people could hear us, we’d make them sick.
“We’re ridiculously, stupidly in love, baby talk, the whole shebang all the time,” she said. “Now with the baby coming, it’s a whole new level.”
Congrats to Marisol and Taron on the birth of their little girl!
