Travis Barker Released From Hospital!: Update (Pictures)

Drummer Travis Barker has been released from the hospital! Great news! Travis Barker was released from the Joseph M. Still Burn Center at Doctors Hospital in Augusta, Georgia on Monday morning, September 29th. Travis’ ex-wife Shanna Moakler will be helping Travis during his recovery. Read more below.

Update:

Travis Barker is headed home to Los Angeles after leaving the burn hospital in Goergia. Travis’ ex-wife, Shanna Moakler is going to see Travis through his recovery.

Travis Baker is making the long travel home on a bus, accompanied by ex-wife Shanna Moakler.

An insider reveals, “Trust me, [Travis] will never fly again – ever.”

A friend of Travis and Shanna Moaklers said, “She (Shanna) is so devoted to him [and] he appreciates it so much. She’s sticking by him. She is with him. Despite everything that’s happened to them, they love each other.”

Travis is still in very serious condition, and will be receiving treatment at a Los Angeles hospital.

Great news that the awesome drummer Travis Barker was released from the hospital today. Travis had spent nine days at the burn center after the tragic plane crash that left four people dead, and Barker and DJ AM badly burned…and lucky to be alive!

Travis Barker had to undergo treatment for severe burns on his torso and lower body. DJ AM reportedly had severe burns on his facial area.

Beth Frits said Monday that she believed Travis Barker was heading back home to Los Angeles.

“Travis is in good condition and was discharged this morning,” Frits told People.com on Monday. “He has left Augusta.”

DJ Am was released from the hospital this past Friday, and reports said Travis Barker would be in the hospital for two more weeks. But thankfully, he must have been healing well to be able to go home today.

DJ AM said of the learjet tragedy, J”While he is deeply saddened by the events, he is thankful for all of the love and support he has been receiving from fans and friends worldwide,” AM’s rep said. “We ask that you continue to respect his privacy as he rests and heals and mourns the loss of his friends.” The DJ updated his Facebook page later Friday to say, “Adam Goldstein [AM's real name] is the luckiest guy alive.”

Travis Barker’s friend, Jermaine Dupri, had stated that Barker would be in the hospital for a couple more weeks. Dupri related, “He’s supposed to send a message out to everybody in a couple of days to let everybody know that he’s feeling better,” he said. “He’s definitely feeling the love from everyone.”

Thankfully Barker and AM will fully recover from their injuries.
