Tina Fey reprised her role as Sarah Palin on last night’s “Saturday Night Live,” again appearing as the Republican vice presidential candidate in an opening sketch. The SNL skit was of the Palin Couric interview. See video below.

Tina Fey is back as Sarah Palin on SNL! Saturday night’s show had the great skit of Fey and Amy Poehler, who opened the season with a great sketch featuring Fey as Palin and Poehler as Hillary Clinton.
This time around, Poehler played CBS’s Katie Couric, doing a parody of the interview with Palin earlier this week.
When Poehler’s Couric pushed Fey’s Palin to specifically discuss how she would help facilitate democracy abroad, Fey gave in: “Katie, I’d like to use one of my lifelines. … I want to phone a friend.”
Poehler as Couric stated that was not how things worked, Fey’s Palin responded — alluding to one of the governor’s most quoted lines from the interview — “Well, in that case, I’m just gonna have to get back to ya.”

I am really sad that my “former” favorite TV show has degraded into a one-sided (that being left) vehicle for Liberal drivle.
I remember the old days with REAL performers like Belushi and Ackroyd. Sure, they picked on politicians, both Democrat and Republican, but they were equally as critical and Never atempted to paint anyone as a “moron” in an attempt to influence public opinion especially prior to an election.
Plain and simple: Saturday Night Live is producing nothing but “garbage”, and please don’t give me the argument of “artistic license”, I know garbage when I see and smell it!

Well . . . I suppose that if a VP candidate is presented as the best thing since sliced bread and that person turns out to be mostly window dressing with very little substance and even less credibility, then people will tend to poke fun at her. In additon, anyone who is still willing to voter for “her,” knowing that she is mostly an empty dress, may be in store for some ridicule too.
