Handsome actor George Clooney is said to be cast as the “Lone Ranger”, and it gets better. Supposedly sexy Johnny Depp will be his side-kick, “Tonto”. Read more after the bump!

The British paper, “The Sun” is reporting that George Clooney, 47, will be cast as the masked man, “The Lone Ranger” in a new movie. And to add even more excitement to the film, sexy Johnny Depp,45, is said to be cast as his sidekick, “Tonto”.
A source close to George Clooney was reported as saying: “George is very keen — he’s been trying to do a movie with Johnny for a long time.
“He thinks they’ll make the perfect on-screen partnership,”
The Lone Ranger movie will be written by Terry Rossio and Ted Elliott, who also wrote the scripts for all three “Pirates of the Caribbean” movies, which stared Johnny Depp.
The Lone Ranger was actually written for the radio show back in the 1930’s, but is more well-known by the television series run in the 1950’s. In the television series, the “Lone Ranger” was played by Clayton Moore, and Tonto was played by Jay Silver.
Just these two sexy dudes being in the movie is enough to make me want to see the film, what about you guys?

Tonto on the 50’s series was played by Jay Silverheels, not Jay Silver.
