Thunder Collins Arrested For Murder! (Pictures)

Former Nebraska running back, Thunder Collins, was arrested on Wednesday for murder! Collins was arrested a day after a person was shot and killed, and a second person was wounded in a shooting In Omaha. Read more after the bump.

Police stated that Timothy Thomas was killed in the shooting, and his body was found in a home on 70th Circle. In addition, Marshall Turner was injured in a nearby shooting. Turner was found in a parking lot on 72nd street. Police do believe the two shootings are connected.
The arrest warrant for Thunder Collins was issued Wednesday morning, accusing him of first-degree murder, and attempted second-degree murder. Collins is also said to face felony weapons charges. Another man, Karnell Burton was arrested on suspicion of criminal homicide, attempted first-degree murder, and two weapons charges.
Then a third man, Ahmad W. Johnson, 21, was also named in the same arrest warrant, and Johnson is a suspect in connection with the shooting.
Thunder Collins was on the University of Nebraska Cornhusker’s football program during the 2000-2001 seasons. After Collins left, he has faced several legal problems, and has served jail time for domestic violence.
Omaha police are not releasing the victims’ names and refused to confirm Collins’ arrest.
