Joan Prather Arrested: Joan Prather Hit & Run (Pics)

Actress from “Eight is Enough”, Joan Prather, was arrested for felony hit-and-run over the weekend. Prather went through police barricades, and ended up dragging a police officer about 20 feet, and was arrested for felony hit and run.

Malibu Surfside News reported that Joan Prather,57, the actress that played David Bradford’s wife, Janet McArthur Bradford, in “Eight is Enough” passed through a section of highway that was closed for a Malibu triathlon.

A Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputy raised his hand to signal for her to stop, but Joan Prather reportedly continued driving. The problem was the cop’s watch had hooked onto her car, and Prather ended up dragging the man about 20 feet.

The officer was treated for a sprained arm, and Joan Prather was arrested for felony hit and run, and released on $50,000 bail.

Prather’s representative has not yet made a statement on her arrest.
