Redmond & Ryan O’Neal Arrested for Meth Possession (Pics)

Ryan O’Neal and son Redmond O’Neal were arrested on suspicion of narcotics possession this morning, after a probation search on the actor’s home in Malibu. Police found Meth in Ryan O’Neal’s room and Meth on Redmond O’Neal.Redmond O’Neal is the son of Farrah Fawcett and Ryan O’Neal.  Both Ryan O’Neal and son are being held in jail on 10,000 bond.

Deputies found Ryan’s son, Redmond O’Neal, 24, in possession of methamphetamine and a vial of meth was found in Ryan O’Neal’s bedroom, according to Los Angeles County Sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore.

Father and son, Ryan and Redmond were detained at around 7:15 a.m. during a probation search because of a case involving Redmond O’Neal. The two were taken to the sheriff’s Malibu/Lost Hills station.

Redmond O’Neal is the son of Farah Fawcett and Ryan O’Neal, and he was arrested last year for carrying heroin and crystal meth while driving under the influence in Malibu.

Redmond pleaded not guilty to drug possession and one misdemeanor DUI charge as part of a deal to keep him out of jail

And in 2005, Redmond O’Neal was placed on probation stemming from an arrest on suspicion of methamphetamine and cocaine possession. So a long history of drugs for this kid.

Ryan O’Neal, 67, was arrested last year on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and negligent discharge of a firearm after firing a gunshot during an argument with his other son, Griffin O’Neal.

The actor told authorities that Griffin, 43, picked up a fireplace poker and started swinging it. Griffin grazed him four or five times and “aimed at my head, I ducked, he hit his own girlfriend in the head,” Ryan O’Neal said at the time.

Ryan O’Neal and son Redmond O’Neal are being held on $10,000 bail. What a great father/son bonding time to be arrested together for Meth possession!
