Josh Howard National Anthem Diss Video

Dallas Mavericks forward, Josh Howard, is stirring up controversy yet again. A YouTube video taken during a charity flag football game in July shows Josh Howard saying he doesn’t celebrate this s**t because he’s black. See the Josh Howard video below.

Josh Howard is shown in a video at a Allen Iverson event for charity, saying during the national anthem, “‘The Star-Spangled Banner’ is going on. I don’t celebrate this [expletive]. I’m black.” Howard also makes a reference to Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama that some could find offensive.
Mark Cuban, owner of the Dallas Mavericks said, according to the Dallas Morning News, that the team had already dealt with Howard at the time of this incident. And Cuban said the team had a plan to discuss these issues during training camp.
“That said, we will be going through some advanced communication skill sessions together this training camp,” Cuban said Tuesday. “I have explained to him that cellphone cameras are not your friend and that what you think you said on camera is never what people will hear when it shows up on YouTube or TV.”
This isn’t Howard’s only trouble, as he was arrested and charged with speeding (94 mph in a 55 mph zone), careless and reckless driving, and speed competition in North Carolina. Josh Howard was released but has to make a court appearance September 23, 2008.
Josh Howard also loves him some “ganja”.

Why was the video of Josh Howard showing his disrespect towards the National Anthem. Has youtube lost it’s nerve or did the Obama camp demand it be taken off?? Look at all the other trash you leave on. Shame on you for being so gutless.
Would everyone just back off of him. He is entitled to his “own” opinion. If he doesn’t celebrate the things that everyone else seems to hold dear to their hearts then that him. Seriously, I can remember times growing up and there were children who sat through the national anthem and the rest of that stuff we had to do in school simply because they where raised not to believe in it. Then what did they do, banned it from all public schools. I’m not saying he was raised not to believe in it but as a man of his statue he has the right to believe in what he wants. He took a no win situation and made winner of hisself. Why should he have to walk on eggshells for the world when before his fame and glory the world didn’t walk on egg shells for him. Get off his back and stop hanging on to his every word!
