Shirley Manson acts in “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.”

Shirley Manson, lead singer of Garbage, has a new role in “Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.” Manson’s debut happens in a scene in a men’s toilet. Her character, Catherine Weaver, morphs from the disguise as a urinal into a terminator.

The terminator then kills a man by pointing her special, metal fingernail that grows and pierces into his skull. Shirley Manson is a regular in the TV show. She joined the cast as the Terminator series went into its second season.

Besides acting in Terminator, Shirley Manson, 41, will release her solo album later this year. She will also sing in Garbage’s fifth album. Manson has a track named “The Trouble I’m In” and this will be featured in Gavin Rossdale’s upcoming solo album, Wanderlust.
