John McCain was on The View today discussing everything from Obama’s “lipstick on a pig” comment, to Roe vs. Wade. The ladies of The View, including Barbara Walters were total bitches to McCain. Don’t you guys think? See John McCain’s “The View” videos below.

Poor John McCain, like him or not, but he was totally grilled on The View. Even Barbara Walters, who normally is the “voice of reason” was being a bitch.
McCain weighed in on The View about Barack Obama’s recent comments comparing his policies to those of President Bush’s, using the term “lipstick on a pig”.
“Sen. Obama chooses his words very carefully,” McCain said. “He shouldn’t have said it.”
McCain seems to think the reason the campaigns have turned negative is because he and Obama have not joined together on appearances.
“If we had done what I asked Sen. Obama to do,” McCain said, referring to his proposal to hold joint town hall meetings, “I don’t think you’d see the tenor of this campaign.”
He was also asked if he would work to overturn Roe v. Wade. Perhaps because of the heavily female audience of “The View”, McCain did not answer directly, but instead laid out his views on appointing judges.
“What we’d be doing is nominating justices to the Supreme Court and other courts who strictly interpret Constitution,” McCain said. “We would not impose a litmus test on any issue.”

I have never seen a more bias interview, if you can even call it an interview, more like an attack.

Kudoos!!! go out to the four ladies on the View–Thank you for allowing us to see that McCain-Palin has become a puppet of the Bush Republican Party. I work in the student loan industry and I get calls every day from Republicans and Democrats who can no longer afford to pay their student loans…Each day I hear their cry’s of losing their jobs and homes, this also includes Doctors and Lawyers as well as people who work for Walmart…Parents can no longer get 2nd mortgages to send their children to school. And as I speak today my company has shipped our American Jobs, being paid by American student loan borrowers overseas to India, of which most borrowers cannot even understand their speech.
As a Blue Collar worker I have seen the erosion of the American dream go down the drain with the Republicans in office…I did not decide today to vote Republicans out of office…I decided this years ago…so there is nothing they can say or do to change my mind…and that includes nominating Sara Palin as VP. This election is not about Obama-Biden nor McCain-Palin, it is about my Country, my fellow Americans,and more importantly my children’s future. It is not about whether I believe or disbelieve in abortion…My philosophy is, if you don’t believe in abortion, and I don’t, then don’t have one…Here the Republicans are trying to the control our lives by controlling the decision between a man and a woman and at the same time stating they are bringing democracy to the Middle East. What a joke! They state they care about the killing of unborn babies, however, when these children are born, most of the Republicans in office vote against healthcare legisture. They state they care about killing unborn babies, when they watched men, woman and children die during the “Katrina Hurricane.” What a joke they have become!
So go ahead and have your silly arguments about whether you will watch the View anymore, who really cares…I just think these woman, allowed America to see John McCain for what he is, another liar who think he is the one and only great American hero…or as I see him, just mirror image of the Liar George Bush.

It’s obvious that the spoiled elitist members of the view, who have never sacrificed or contributed to America, like McCain has, are in the tank for Obama, while enjoying the benefits from others who have sacrificed and contributed. You McCain haters can say what ever you want about that man, but that man has way bigger balls than Obama. McCain going on the view was as big of a risk as Obama going on Shawn Hannity. Except Obama won’t go on Hannity and the only reason why he went on O’reilly is because it was a distraction to viewers of the republican convention. Obama has Hollywood on his side so he can go to any network he wants and get more than fair treatment as McCain and Palin have to fight off attacks about stuff that doesn’t even matter before a single actual issue is brought up. McCain handled himself quite impressively under attack by the select few on the stage and intern the entire audience. He stuck to his guns and stated his beliefs quickly with no second thought to people wanting to take him down under pressure. No matter if you don’t agree with anything this man says, you cannot deny that he agreed to go in front of the firing squad as where Obama hides every single time and when he can’t hide from questions, he simply chooses not to answer them after about 30 seconds of studdering trying to think up an answer. Obama is a gifted speaker. Even though you know that he reads from teleprompters like everyone else does, it seems as if he is speaking without one. Turn off the prompter and then listen to what he has to say. It sounds a lot like uh…d…uh…well..uh..I….uh..n…n…no…now…now…huh…huh…hold on…I…uh… That must be some new foreign relations language.
Let me start by saying I am a woman, artist, free spirit, and mother. I was appalled at the lack of respect from those women. When I saw Whoopi in her usual slovenly attire - slouched on the couch - I just thought she looked very juvenile. So, this is the liberal model. How sad. And they believe themselves to be so liberated. They don’t even see how ridiculously ignorant they are. I think it’s too late to say ‘grow up’. I would just like them to know that we don’t all think like they do - contrary to popular liberal belief.
I must admit that the commentary listed above the YouTube videos leaves alot to be desired. McCain was grilled? Since when do the people NOT have the right to question their government, and elected officials? Thomas Jefferson, one of the founding fathers of our country, said that you must DEMAND answers and interrogate your leaders. Once the GOP and it’s supporters understand this, surely the lies, inuendo, and BS will slow, if not cease.

Yes, we do have a right to ask questions to our government and elected officials; however, I haven’t seen any “celebrity” treat Obama the way McCain has been treated by a celebrity.

I believe the ladies on the view have every right to ask questions of John McCain, however when you are taking an arrogant almost angry position when asking those questions they become an attack, and just the mere fact that Barbara Walters couldn’t even look Mr. McCain in the eye when she spoke about him or to him makes any questions she had seem less relevant. The ladies on the View missed a huge oppurtunity by conducting a q and a with Sen. McCain that was more of a grilling of him than a real intrest of what he was about and what he has to say and offer. Shame on you ladies, not for acting like horses rears, but for letting a real oppurtunity slip right by you because you have bought into the the political redoric and bs that all of america is fed up with. Please just a little more dignity and class.
I thought the interview was fair, glad they brought up the “lipstick on a pig” comment, Obama was just using the same saying McCain had used many times.
I would like to see Obama grilled by a gruop of respected pro-lifers about his pro-choice beliefs, choice of VP, etc.

When 9/11 or worse happens then those celebrities and all of the American people will REGRET choosing Obama for our President. The economy is the way that it is NOT because of Bush, let’s face it, Congress runs the economy and well, it has been a Democratic Congress for the past two years. The President, not even our new President has that much say in any of it.
When we are going through another depression and Obama raises our taxes oh and by the way, I’m in the middle class category, maybe even a little lower than that because we are a military family and believe me, we chose to serve this great land but we aren’t compensated enough.
I do not believe the American people are making a wise decision and we can only pray to the good Lord above that he will not let this happen. Sometimes it scares me so, could Obama be the anti-christ…I don’t think so but then again…he does get people to believe in him even if he is wrong.
