Travis Barker and DJ AM

All of you loyal Stupid Celeb readers may have realized by now that I am a pretty big Travis Barker  (Blink 182 drummer) Fan. Travis has been doing a lot of slick remix’s of famous artists like Soulja Boy and Flo Rida.   Well it looks like Travis is going at it again and taking it up a notch by partnering up with DJ AM to bring us a new kind of musical performance.

“I wanted to do something that I hadn’t seen done either, like a full kit and a DJ – it was just a different approach, something fresh,” says Travis Barker.

“The music takes a direction of it’s own,” says AM. “We literally look at tempos or a few key songs we want to play, and that’s like the skeleton, and then we kind of dress it up with all kinds of clothes and a hat and the next thing you know it’s a whole crazy creature.”
