Oasis Attacker Charged With Assault (Video)

The band Oasis came under attack, when a drunken fan slipped past security and jumped on stage and tackled Liam Gallagher and Noel Gallagher. See video of the Oasis attack below.

The drunken fan, Daniel Sullivan, went on stage and pushed Oasis’ Noel Gallagher into some speakers, in the middle of a show in Canada, was charged with assault.

British rockers Oasis have rescheduled a London, Ont., concert after one of its band members was attacked on stage during a show on Toronto Island last weekend.

The attack happened when a drunken fan jumped onto the stage during the middle of the band’s performance of “(What’s the Story) Morning Glory?” and pushed Noel Gallagher fro behind.

Gallagher, 41,crashed hard into the speakers, bruising his ribs and hip, according to an official statement on the band’s website Tuesday.

“Noel was advised by his doctors to rest,” the statement on oasisnet.com said. “Unfortunately, despite resting up yesterday, the extent of his injuries mean he will not be able to perform tonight.”

The attacker then went for Liam, but security tackled him in front of the crowd of 25,000.
