Christina Aguilera and Russell Brand in MTV Video Music Awards.

Russell Brand and Christina Aguilera will be teamed up in a segment when they appear in MTV VMA on Sunday.

Brand and Aguilera were placed together at a sneak preview and press conference at Paramount Studios on Thursday, Sept 4.

Russell Brand was seen to be charming and paying attention to Aguilera. Brand took the opportunity to play up to the cameras and Aguilera seemed to be enjoying the attention.

Brand said that he was anxious to get accepted in US. He is shaping his image in US after his long career in the UK as a comedian with a troubled past in drugs and sex addiction.
