French Justice Minister, Rachida Dati is pregnant, but who is the father? Some speculate it could be French President Nicolas Sarkozy’s baby, others say the father is Spanish prime minister Jose-Maria Aznar. Or could it be a sperm donor? Read more after the bump.

French justice minister Rachida Dati is pregnant and is not telling anyone the identity of the father of her baby.
Rumors are circulating that French President Nicolas Sarkozy could be the father, as they were said to be romantically involved in the past. Surely this would anger his current wife, Carla Bruni Sarkozy who is said to be pregnant now.
Some have said the father is Spanish prime minister Jose-Maria Aznar. But he is a married so this would most likely not go over too well with his wife!
Nicolas Sarkozy’s reps not commented, but Anzar’s reps have denied he is the father of Rachida’s baby.
Other men that are possible fathers are Dati’s former boyfriend, Henri Proglio, Dominique Dessegne and a French TV host called Arthur. Wow the French Justice Minister seems to get around huh?
Many think Dati used a sperm donor to achieve pregnancy.
One blogger said, “Dati likes tall blond men, and would have gone to Denmark to find a sperm bank.”
Dati has said of her pregnancy, “I have a very complicated private life, and that’s where I draw the line with the press,” they didn’t push her.
At any rate, she said, she was 42, which meant she was still at a stage where her pregnancy might not succeed. “If it happens, I’ll be over the moon. If not, I’ll be hugely disappointed, but I’ll put on a coat of lipstick, and I’ll carry this burden alone.”
Renaud Revel, a French commentator said the French media actually know the father’s identity, but will not make that information public.
“The German of Anglo-Saxon press would have X-rayed Rachida Dati’s pregnancy, to the point of producing the father’s ID papers and his DNA. But the French media are kept at a distance.
“The father has been known to the newsrooms for week. But not a line, not a name, not the slightest allusion has appeared.”
Very strange and mysterious! It makes you want to know the father’s identity even more with all the secrecy.
