Actor Seth Rogen has stated that one reason he wanted to come to Hollywood was to make a movie with Kevin Smith. Well now his dream will be fulfilled, as Rogen makes a dirty movie with Smith. Rogen speaks on his “research” and how he loves porn. Read more below.

Seth Rogen has been researching his movie role and has said, “I love porn, I watch lots of porn.”
Rogen is starring with Elizabeth Banks in “Zack and Miri Make a Porno”, which is a romantic comedy with lots of nakedness.
Seth Rogen, 26, thinks back to meeting with an agent who asked about what he wanted in a career. Rogen remembers telling the agent that he wanted to work with Kevin Smith. Smith is known for his profanity-laden movies, the kind that Rogen himself has since starred in such as “Superbad”, “Knocked Up”, and recently “Pineapple Express”.
The agent “said to me that’s probably easier than you think. I hadn’t realized that Kevin Smith movies didn’t make any money,” Rogen said in a telephone interview from Los Angeles. “To me, he was like Steven Spielberg. I didn’t realize the difference between good movies and movies that make a lot of money.”
Kevin Smith has built up a cult following with his films such as “Clerks”, “Chasing Amy”, and “Dogma”. But Rogen thinks maybe “Zach and Miri Make a Porno” could be the movie that puts Smith out there to a larger audience.
“Zack and Miri” is about Rogen and Banks, who are best friends as well as “roomies”, that realize after making a porn to pay their bills, that there may be more to their relationship.
Kevin Smith actually wrote the script with Seth Rogen in mind for this movie.
