After David Duchovny’s sex addiction rehab news came out in the media this week, many reported he was addicted to internet porn. But actually Duchovny had cheated on wife, Tea Leoni, for years until she put her foot down.

As David Duchovny’s dirty little secret of his sex addiction hit the news, most seemed to think it was just an internet porn addiction, like to a porn site like this one here. But according to sources, David Duchovny cheated on Tea Leoni for years!
Duchovny, star of X Files, finally gave in to seeking treatment for his sex addiction at the prodding of his wife, after she threatened to divorce him.
“He said Tea gave him an ultimatum: Get treatment or our marriage is over,” a friend close to the couple said to the National Enquirer.
“She felt it was ruining their marriage and affecting their kids.”
David Duchovny and Tea Leoni have been married for 11 years, and have two children: daughter Madelaine West, nine, and son Kyd, that is six-years old.
The source said Duchovny is compulsive and it makes it too hard to turn down all the throngs of women that throw themselves at the actor.
Tea Leoni became suspicious of her husband recently and after questioning him, Duchovny, 48, finally admitted that he had been cheating.
David Duchovny checked into The Meadows treatment facility in Arizona last week and is working on completing a 35 day course. His wife, Tea, has been to visit him at the treatment center several times.
Tea and David are said to be very in love, but the sex addiction has really taken its toll.
Although Duchovny denied previously being unfaithful to Tea, he recently admitted he wondered if fidelity was really possible.
Let’s hope David Duchovny can work through his sex addiction and make his marriage with Tea Leoni work.

YEP FOLKS: in messing around!!
He looked miserable at the X-F 2 premiers. And Tea wasn’t at either. Wonder if it had hit the fan already. I do hope they can come back to their marriage and make it stronger. It would be difficult but not impossible. Either way I wish them both the best. This is a nightmare of an addiction to love someone through. (No direct experience here, thank God, but other addictions run rampant in my family).
