Star Jones has her a new boyfriend and he can cook! Jones is now dating Chef Herb Wilson.

“This was one of the first times they were out in public together,” a friend of Jones’ tells PEOPLE, after the couple were spotted kissing in the stands at the U.S. Open last weekend. “It’s a new relationship, and he makes her very happy.”

Star Jones split from husband Al Reynolds after three years of marriage in March.

Jones’ rep did no want to comment, but another source close to Star confirms the relationship as well: “He’s a very nice guy,” the source says of Wilson. “She’s never been happier.”

Herb Wilson is said to be very successful and doesn’t like to be in the public eye.
