The Spice Girls’ Melanie Brown was asked about her friendship with the rest of the Girls. She was asked since she lived a few miles down the road from Victoria Beckham’s place.

Melanie Brown confessed that she did not share much in common with Victoria Beckham. Perhaps they were more like competitors since launching their solo careers. Both Beckham and Brown have fashion lines. Mel B paid tribute to Beckham by saying that the dVb line was very successful. Brown’s Catty Couture on animal print fashion was still very new.

Brown explained that she preferred a homely life with her kids and family, in contrast to some of the high profile lifestyles, which involved being seen socializing with celebrities.
