Jade Goody’s boyfriend, Jack Tweed, was sent to jail.

Jack Tweed, 21, the on and off boyfriend of Jade Goody, has been convicted and sentenced to prison for assaulting a teen.

Jack Tweed pleaded not guilty. In addition, he has tried to argue that he should not be sent to prison for 18 months. He said he was needed to help nurse his friend, Jade Goody, as she was suffering from cancer. Jade Goody wrote a letter to the judge to plead on behalf of Jack Tweed. Goody did not attend his trial and sentencing.

Jack Tweed denied doing bodily harm on Daniel Steele, the said victim. However, the trial found him guilty. It seemed they were convinced after hearing that the alleged weapon, a golf club, was broken after the assault on Steele. The jury heard other testimonies too.
