Sarah Palin was a sports reporter for KTUU, Anchorage’s NBC affiliate, before becoming Alaska’s first female governor, and recently the Republican Vice-President running mate.

As a sports anchor, Sarah Heath before marrying oil company production operator Todd Palin, showed off her skills during the evening news.

With the 80’s style, big hair, Palin already showed her strong opinionated views. She even advised Los Angeles Dodgers manager Tommy Lasorda on how to learn to relax.

Sarah Palin became the second woman to ever run on a major-party ticket, and the first woman to run on the Republican ticket.
