There is an exhibition of the largest collection of Madonna’s stage costumes, movie wardrobe costumes and personal items. The exhibition called “Simply Madonna” will be held at Old Truman Brewery, London, from February 21- March 22, 2009.

Madonna will show her old and new fans her wardrobe history. It charts her rise in her career as she progressed from one outfit to the next.

Madonna’s first public outfit was in 1983, when she started her first album. Her costumes underwent many changes, ranging from the bad girl image, to conical cup corsets, country girl, demure lady and presently; a tart-like candy gal.

Madonna has also included some items that she wore and possessed in her private life. Madonna will showcase a gold and emerald cross, a gift from James Albright, her ex security guard and boyfriend. Ironically, Madonna has a legal lawsuit with Albright because he wants to publish her love letters written to him.
