Michael Jackson Turns 50: What Are MJ’s B-day Plans? (Photos)

Michael Jackson, aka “Wacko Jacko”, turns 50 today! So what does the pop singer have planned for his birthday?

The original “king of pop”, Michael Jackson, turns 50 years-old today. In an interview with US Magazine, Michael said, “having a wonderful time, just relaxing” on his birthday.

“I feel very wise and sage, but at the same time very young,” he said in a phone interview with ABC’s Good Morning America today.

So how does Michael Jackson plan to spend his 50th birthday?

“Just have a little cake with my children and we’ll probably watch some cartoons,” he revealed.

Jackson has three children: Paris Katherine, Prince Michael I and Prince Michael II . Although they keep him busy, he plans on another album soon.

“I am writing all the time,” he said. “I love composing and the whole thing. But I am also raising my children and enjoying it and teaching them to ride bicycles and how to read. I love it.

“I get pretty emotional when I see them having a wonderful time,” he added. “When they are on a ride and they are screaming and they are happy… It makes me emotional, ’cause I see they are having a real good time.”

Michael Jackson was born in Gary, Indiana became a star in the 1960’s as a child, along with his brothers in their Jackson 5 group. Michael later became a solo artist and his album “Thriller” was the best selling LP in history. Jackson has won a total of 13 Grammys.

Although some wonder if Michael Jackson maintains his “Peter Pan” mentality because of his lack of childhood. But Jackson doesn’t regret his upbringing he says.

But Jackson is determined that his own children “enjoy their childhood as much as possible”, explaining: “I let them go to the arcade and go to the movies and do things. I want them to get to do the kind of things I didn’t get to do. So I fill them with a lot of enjoy that way – a lot of amusement, you know?

“I get pretty emotional when I see them having a wonderful time, when they are on a ride and they are screaming and they are happy.”

Michael Jackson’s kids are rarely ever out in public without wearing veils. Jackson supposedly has them wear those to prevent them being kidnapped. WTF? That sounds crazy! Don’t they stand out even more with those veils on their faces?
