Brooke Shields returns to “Lipstick Jungle.”

Brooke Shields had foot surgery 3 months ago and was forced to lay off her gym routine. She posed for the cover of Shape and looked toned, despite her claims of not being able to exercise during the past few months.

Brooke Shields said she took a long rest during her recovery from surgery on her tendon in April. This was the break between season 1 and 2 of Lipstick Jungle. She sustained her injury from years of wearing high heels and dancing on stage.

Brooke had a recurrence of her injury when she was working on the stage play Chicago in 2005. Since then, she has suffered pain while wearing heels. It was hoped that this surgery would help to reduce her pain. Shields has returned to work on Lipstick Jungle.
