Tenacious D is rocking out in Manchester! Jack Black and Kyle Gass joined the Reading Festival, taking the main stage.

Tenacious D did a very theatrical show in Manchester, what else could be expected from Jack Black though?

Jack Black and Kyle Gass hit the stage dressed in lizard and wizard costumes, keeping their show dramatic and interesting.

Tenacious D played a Guns N roses classic of “Sweet Child O’ Mine”, after stating how honored they were to open for Metallica, “the greatest metal band of all time”.

Black made funny comments in between songs, and had a huge metal character during their song, “The Metal”.

As Tenacious D concluded their show, they were joined by… who else? The Devil, who they serenaded with their song, “Tribute”.

Jack Black and Kyle Gass formed their rock band back in 1994. Tenacious D’s first album was released in 2001, and went platinum!

Their second album, “Pick of Destiny” came out in 2006 and was an even bigger hit.

Jack Black and Kyle Gass of Tenacious D are in the process on working on a new album, which hopefully will be out in 2010.
