Celebrities at US Open Player’s Party.

The celebrities in tennis attended the 2008 US Open Player’s Party on Friday night, August 22. The prestigious event was held at Empire Hotel, New York.

Some of the celebrities who attended were Maria Sharapova, Serena Williams, Lindsay Price, Becki Newton and Whitney Port.

Venus Williams and her sister Serena Williams could be playing each other in the quarter finals of the women’s draw. Serena Williams will be starting her US Open competition by playing against Kateryna Bondarenko, of Ukrain.

Venus Williams will play against Samantha Stosur, of Australia. Women’s tennis’ World Number One, Ana Ivanovic, is set to play against Vera Dushevin. Ana will be playing to seek a win in her first US Open competition.
