Jessica Simpson is the new “spokeswhore” or spokesperson for Dallas-based beer Stampede Light Plus.

Stampede Beer Light Plus is a beer that is packed with vitamins for active lifestyles. Interest concept though eh?

Jessica Simpson, 28, says in the beer campaign: “I work out and take care of myself. But I also like a cold beer once in a while. That’s why I made the smart choice with a smart beer. Stampede Light, it’s beer plus.”

Jessica Simpson is also said to be taking a 15 percent stake in the brewery.

“As an entrepreneur, I am always looking for ways to diversify my portfolio with good ideas and good people,” she said in a statement reported by the “Dallas Morning News”.

Simpson also has a shoe line, and fragrance she is endorsing.
