Jennifer Lopez will participate in triathlon for charity.

Jennifer Lopez has started training for a triathlon. Lopez appeared on Good Morning America on Monday, August 18, to announce the news.

J Lo showed up on the set dressed in her exercise gear and she explained how she had been trying to get fit after her delivery of her twins 6 months ago. She said that she has started preparing slowly and was working up to a good level. The triathlon is for the sake of charity and it will be held in Malibu on Sep. 14.

Lopez wants to do it to raise funds for the Children’s Hospital in Los Angeles. She wants to do the triathlon in 2008 because this is the year that her twins Max and Emme were born. She wants to have something great for them to commemorate in 2008.
