So are Amanda Beard and Michael Phelps, both swimming stars in the Olympics, dating? Amanda Beard, Olympic swimmer and “model” totally disses Michael Phelps! Beard actually acts as if she was disgusted at the thought. Has she looked in a mirror lately? She’s nasty!

Beard actually acts like she is too good for Michael Phelps. This chick has a good case of the “butta face”. Her body may be bangin’ but her face! Eww! She’s ugly!
“Eww, that’s nasty!” she said via telephone from Beijing on 93.7 KRQ Tucson’s Johnjay and Rich in the Morning.
“Come on, I have really good taste,” she added. “He’s not really my type.”
Amanda Beard has a boyfriend, and says she has no idea how these rumors get started.
“We don’t even talk to each other,” she said.
But apparently people didn’t like the tacky comments she made about Michael Phelps, and she is catching hell for them!
Now Beard wants to pretend she was just kidding, “Everyone who knows me knows I can be a jokester, but I guess I took it too far,” the four-time Olympian tells People. “I never meant to say anything rude about Michael. I am 100-percent sorry for what I said. I take full responsibility for it.”
Phelps takes the high road despite Amanda acting as if he is “nasty”. Phelps said, “I’m not dating Amanda Beard. I’ll say that,” he told Extra. “I think she has a boyfriend.”
“Part of my life is kept to myself,” Phelps added. “I’m able to relax and be with my friends. Those pretty much are the only people who really know the answer to that question.”
When Michael Phelps was told that country singer, Carrie Underwood has a crush on him, he said, “That’s the first I’ve heard of that. That’s pretty cool.”
And what celebrity does Phelps have a crush on? Cameron Diaz!
Amanda Beard does have a photographer boyfriend and said, “He’s been here [at the Olympics] – he’s always with me,” she says of her boyfriend. “He’s totally fine with [the romance rumors]. This is just the way things go sometimes. But to Michael, I am so sorry for the things I said.”
Sure she’s sorry, Beard is just catching hell for acting like a pompous bitch!
