David Beckham celebrates his father’s birthday.

David and Victoria Beckham flew to the UK to celebrate Ted Beckham’s (David’s father) 60^th birthday. Actually, it would be a belated birthday party for Mr. Ted Beckham as his birthday was in July.

David and Victoria had missed the actual celebrations as they decided to stay behind in LA to celebrate Kate Beckinsale’s birthday and fulfill David’s football commitments in LA Galaxy.

Ted Beckham had a heart attack in 2007 and he was very disappointed when David missed his birthday. He had read in the news that David attended Kate Beckinsale’s 35^th birthday party on the same weekend in July and he felt heartbroken. The younger Beckhams flew into the UK on Friday, August 15, to throw a special dinner party for Ted. They would spend some time with their families in the UK.
