Daniel Radcliffe’s “Magic Wand” to Blame For Harry Potter Delay? (Photos)

Warner Brothers has moved the sixth Potter film, “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince,” from Nov. 21, 2008, to July 17, 2009. And the reason? Many say it’s due to Daniel Radcliffe’s magic wand! The studio has announced a delay in the sixth Harry Potter movie, “Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince”. Supposedly their reason was “a spot opened on the summer schedule”. Huh? That doesn’t make much sense!

But the real reason, sources say, is that Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe will be right in the middle of his naked play run on Broadway called “Equus.” In this play, Radcliffe is on stage completely naked, and has sex in the play as well!

That’s apparently not what Warner Brothers had in mind for their nerdy hero Harry Potter.

There are currently posters up everywhere of a half-naked Daniel Radcliffe for the play “Equus”.

Can you imagine Daniel Radcliffe promoting his newest Harry Potter film, with questions of blinding horses and having sex with them? We can’t imagine that would go over too well with the Harry Potter fans!

Surprisingly though, in the next Harry Potter movie, Harry will be grown up and appearing nude! Being nude is nothing new to Daniel Radcliffe after Equus though!

Radcliffe says he now has enough confidence to appear naked in “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows”, which begins filming next year.

“At first I thought I’d have pants (underwear) on for the scene. Apparently not,” Contactmusic quoted him, as saying. “But I’ve sort of done that before on stage. It’’s all old hat now, really,” he added.

Recently Daniel Radcliffe revealed his dyspraxia diagnosis. At first we thought it could be a disease in which you like to be naked with horses. Apparently it is a motor skill problem, which makes skills such as typing one’s shoes a bit difficult.

For all you Harry Potter fans, does it make you upset that Harry’s magic wand is to blame for the movie’s delay?
