Selma Blair is most known for her dark sexy comedy roles, but her new acting role on “Kath and Kim” shows another side of Blair.

Selma Blair is in a new sitcom on TV called “Kath & Kim”, which will air on NBC this Fall. Blair has been working on filming scenes for her new TV series in Los Angeles. It looks as if this acting role will show a much different side of Blair, at least in her wardrobe!

Selma didn’t look too happy with her sexy outfits, which included a shiny pink bikini and heart-shaped sunglasses. To top off the tacky ensemble, was a pink cowboy hat.

The new TV series, “Kath & Kim” is based on an Australian show, which stars Selma Blair as Kim, and Molly Shannon as her mother. It should be a cute show with the two funny ladies, Blair and Shannon!

You might notice Selma Blair looks “chunkier” than her normal slim self. That is because they had Blair put on a few pounds for this new role.

Blair admitted she felt really uncomfortable while filming “Kath & Kim” because of the weight gain, and the tight-fighting clothes.

She says, “(It was) unpleasant. I’d have lacerations on my body from my shorts being so tight. They’d yell ‘Cut!’ and people would come over with a bathrobe because I was so embarrassed about the flab rolling over. It was so ugly. That and my double chin.”

Selma tried to steer clear of photographers and holed up in her trailer when not filming.

Selma adds: “The character’s fashion sense is really horrific. I’m wearing a lot of bright clothes and I don’t wear anything except black and white in real life. I’m wearing orange and blue together. It’s horrible. And wedge flip-flops all the time, toe rings, and an anklet. I have long hair, too, so I have these horrifying extensions and these long nails. It’s so embarrassing.”

Selma Blair has already shed the extra pounds but said, “I’ve lost the weight but it’s difficult to get it off as you get older.”
