Peaches Geldof and Max Drummey, drummer of band “Chester French” were just married in Las Vegas. Marriage confirmed by her rep!

Peaches Geldof, Sir Bob Geldof’s daughter, has married Max Drummey in Las Vegas.

Peaches Geldof, 19, married Maxwell Drummey while she was on vacation in the United States.

Geldof met Max Drummey, 23, drummer of rock band “Chester French” two years ago. But Peaches was said to have been dating Faris Rotter of “The Horrors” just recently. So the wedding news was quite a surprise to many!

Peaches Geldof’s spokesperson confirmed the wedding news in a statement:

“Peaches and Max Drummey are delighted to announce their very happy marriage. The couple tied the knot in a simple low-key ceremony in Las Vegas last week, whilst holidaying in America. Peaches first met Max, 23, a Harvard graduate in anthropology, 2 years ago. Max’s band, Chester French, played at the ITV iTunes festival, where Peaches was a co-presenter of the show. The acclaimed new Boston band were signed by Pharrell Williams to his label Star Track, a subsidiary of the giant Interscope Label. Their marriage has the full support of their family and friends. Peaches and Max did not want unnecessary publicity, but following growing media speculation, have decided to set out the facts. No further comment from either will be forthcoming.”

Wow! Kind of a shocker! Peaches Geldof recently made the news months ago for an apparent overdose, in which emergency crews responded. Let’s hope Peaches is in a good state of mind to be making such a huge decision such as marriage!

Nonetheless, congrats to Peaches Geldof and Max Drummey on their wedding!
