Vanessa Mae talks about her relationship with her mother.

Vanessa Mae, the celebrated violinist, and her mother, Pamela have an on-going feud. When the producers of a TV documentary contacted Pamela to contribute something for the film, Pamela refused.

Vanessa has opened up and talked about her relationship with her mother. The quarrel between the mother and daughter first started 8 years ago when Vanessa Mae fired her mother as her manager. Vanessa thought that her mother was being too domineering and she wanted a normal relationship between her mother and herself.

Pamela took offense when she was fired and the mother and daughter pair stopped talking. Vanessa Mae has acknowledged their differences but she has also credited her mother for nurturing her and guiding her towards the path that has made her become the famous violinist.
