Wayne Rooney might be charged with assault.

Wayne Rooney faced an assault charge after he was accused of spitting at a cameraman. Wayne lost his patience and temper during a night outing with his new wife Coleen. The celebrity couple was hounded by paparazzi.

Wayne Rooney and Coleen Mcloughlin were followed into a restaurant by an unidentified photographer. The cameraman was told to leave by the staff.

When Wayne left the restaurant at 10:30 pm, he spat at the cameraman who was still waiting around. The photographer did not make any reports to the police. A third party who saw the incident made a complaint.

Wayne had an interview with the police. His lawyers were present at that meeting.
