Alex Rodriguez’s formal response to divorce petition.

Alex Rodriguez, the New York Yankees slugger, has finally opened up and responded to Cynthia Rodriguez’s petition for divorce.

Alex Rodriguez filed documents to admit that their marriage was broken. He criticized Cynthia for mentioning irrelevant issues like his alleged extramarital affairs and other marital misbehavior. He wants the divorce settlement to be determined by their prenuptial agreement in 2002.

A-Rod wants shared parental responsibility for their children. He asks that both parents be designated as “co-residential” parents. Rodriguez is committed to give shared parental responsibility for the well-being of his children. He will pay child support and asks the court to determine a fair amount for the monthly payment.
