Ismeet Singh Dies: “Voice of India” Reality Star Drowns In Swimming Pool

Ismeet Singh, “Voice of India” television reality star mysteriously drowns in swimming pool death.
“Voice of India” singer Ishmeet Singh from Punjab drowned on Tuesday in a swimming pool at a resort in the Maldives where he went to perform in a concert.
Ishmeet Singh, 19, shot to fame after winning the Star India TV Voice of India contest last year. Ishmeet’s father stated that the event company phoned his family around 8 p.m. telling them their son had died by drowning in the swimming pool of the hotel.
Ishmeet had gone to the pool but accidentally fell into the deep end leading to his drowning.
Ismeet Singh’s father, Sodhi, told reporters of their surprise that their son had died due to drowning in the swimming pool. “He had never swam before us and we are not aware whether he could swim or not,” his sobbing father said.
“The TV channels announced his death at around 9 pm, the time when were expecting to see Ishmeet perform for the first time in the Maldives”, Ishmeet’s father stated.

I am very saddened by Ismeet Singh’s death. I think the entire nation along with people who have watched him abroad are very sad. He was an amazing singer. He seemed very mature as well. I am from Ludhiana and this tragedy certainly hits home. I feel as if I have known him somehow. This shock will take a long time to heal in all of our hearts. I can’t even begin to imagine the state of mind of his mom. May his soul rest in peace.
I cant belive that Ishmeet is dead. He was not only a good singer but also he was a very nice humanbing….
I don know why God is crude that every time he just take a nice person from the world……..
There was amahic in his sweet smile and `any one can be fan of his smile……….
May that crude God give peace to his soul.
