Sean Bean “Lord of the Rings Star” Arrested for Assaulting Wife

Actor Sean Bean of “Lord of the Rings”, was arrested and spent the night in jail after allegedly assaulting his new and fourth wife, Georgina.
Sean Bean, 49-year-old star of Lord of the Rings was taken to a police station after his wife, Georgina, called police during a late night argument.
Georgina, Bean’s wife, said Sean grabbed and assaulted her during an argument at their home in Belsize Park, North London.
The actor, currently on a break from filming the television series “Sharpe” in India, was held for around six hours that night.
Sean Bean was released on Friday, and told that no further action would be taken against him.
A spokesman for Scotland Yard said officers investigated an allegation of domestic assault and that a man was arrested and taken to a London police station where he was bailed and released without further action.
This is beginning to sound very similar to the Christian Bale actors incident.
Georgina Bean, speaking from their home said, “Everything is OK… There’s no problem between us.”
This is the fourth marriage for Sean Bean, who married Georgina in February at a private ceremony in central London.
The couple had a wedding date set, but the wedding was called off just 24 hours before the ceremony.
Georgina was reported to have said that the wedding was cancelled due to “personal reasons”.
The actor, who played warrior Boromir in The Lord of the Rings, married his first wife Debra when he was just 21.
His second marriage was to actress Melanie Hill, and they had two daughters, Lorna and Molly.
Bean’s third marriage was to actress Abigail Cruttenden, who played his wife in Sharpe. They have a nine-year-old daughter named Evie.
Let’s hope his fourth marriage fares better than the others to Georgina. From the sound of things, it’s not looking very positive.
