Katie Couric has been revealed as the world’s highest paid news anchor. She claimed that she was still a victim of sexism. Her salary, which was double that of her male rivals, has not made her completely satisfied.
Katie Couric, 51, has a salary of around $15 million per annum. Her ratings are behind her rivals. Her claims of being victimized by sexism were criticized as her salary did not suggest that she was a victim of sexual bias.
Katie Couric told an Israeli newspaper that she was in the last bastion of male dominance. She identified herself with Hillary Clinton’s fight against sexism. Couric has been severely criticized for her remarks but she has said that her comments were lost in translation.
