Terrell Owens became Sam Alipour’s hero.

Terrell Owens was a model citizen and hero when he showed uncommon bravery and sacrifice in helping another fellow citizen.

Sam Alipour, a sports writer, was hit by a car when he left an ESPYs after-party. The first person to come to his assistance was Terrell Owens.

Sam Alipour had written about his accident in his column. He wrote that Owens, a Dallas Cowboy receiver, helped him to get up and waited with him for the ambulance to arrive.

After Alipour was treated by the medics, he went looking for Terrell Owens to thank him. Owens and his bodyguard had left the scene quietly without waiting for thanks or attention.
