Blake Fielder-Civil has been sentenced to stay in jail until Christmas. He received 27 months after he pleaded guilty to assault and perverting the course of justice.

In the UK, the prisoner will serve half of the sentence. Blake Fielder-Civil has served 254 days, which was about 9 months of his sentence.

Blake’s lawyer, Kate Anderson, told the media that they were disappointed with the sentence and might appeal.

Amy Winehouse was absent from the Snaresbrook Crown Court when Blake received his sentencing. Georgette Civil, Blake’s mother, was present. Blake’s friend, Sophie Schandorff, was seen crying outside the court rom.

Blake’s lawyer said that his client desired to keep off drugs and be a role model for his wife, Amy Winehouse.
