Amy Winehouse’s husband, Blake Fielder-Civil, will be sentenced on Monday, July 21, 2008.
Amy thought that Blake stood a good chance of getting his release. A source said that she had celebrated the eve of his sentencing with a night out. Another possible reason would be that she tried to steady herself with a trip to her favorite pub. She was seen walking to a pub near her house with her friends. She came out 3 hours later and picked up a bouquet of flowers which she then forgot to pay for.
On Monday, Blake Fielder-Civil will get his sentence for assaulting a pub landlord and then offering a $400,000 bribe to buy his silence.
Blake’s parents had written to a crown court judge to request that he order Blake to stay at the family home instead of with Amy. His parents thought that the move would be good for Blake.
Both sets of parents on Amy’s side and Blake’s side have blamed the other half of the married couple for their drug abuse problems.
