Sting’s daughter, Coco Sumner, sings at charity gig.
Posted on July 19, 2008Coco Sumner, 17, Sting’s teenage daughter, put up a great performance at a charity gig at the Trekstock event for the Teenage Trust at Boogaloo, in Highgate, north London.
Coco Sumner sang a cover of Estelle’s American Boy. She showed off her skills as she strummed her acoustic guitar and sang. In between, she was seen sipping from a Styrofoam cup that supposedly contained tea. It was said that she drank tea to steady her nerves.
Coco Sumner has signed a deal with Island Records and is currently recording a new album in Jamaica.
Noel Fielding, a British comedian, was present at her gig and he said that Coco sounded and looked like her dad Sting.
