Shannen Doherty Confirms Return to CW’s 90210 Spinoff Show

Shannen Doherty is returning to the 90210 spinoff show as Brenda Walsh. It’s official!

Shannen Doherty will be returning to 90210. Yay! The Bitch is back!

The actress, 37, will join the cast of CW’s upcoming 90210 spinoff, the show’s executive producer, Gabe Sachs, announced at the Television Critics Association fall press tour Saturday.

Shannen Doherty will return to her character, Brenda Walsh. The character Brenda Walsh returns to West Beverly High as a director for the school’s musical production, after leaving a successful theater career.

Shannen Doherty won’t be the only familiar face to join the 90210 spinoff. Tori Spelling will return to her character, Donna Martin. Joe E. Tata, who played “Peach Pit” owner, will also join the cast. Jennie Garth, who played Kelly Taylor, will be featured in several episodes as the high school guidance counselor.

Jennie Garth and Shannen Doherty once came to blows in a fight, but Garth has said she has no problem with Doherty being in the show. Garth said, “A lot of time has passed, and I’m a big girl.”

Now if only sexy Luke Perry, who played “Dillon” in the original 90210 would return to the spinoff show!
