Dennis Farina’s weapon case is settled.
Posted on July 17, 2008Dennis Farina pleaded no contest to charges that he carried a gun in his briefcase. He tried to bring in his firearm through a security checkpoint at LAX in May.
There were two other more serious weapons charges that were dismissed. He was originally charged with carrying a loaded firearm, and carrying a concealed weapon.
Dennis Farina did not show up in court. His lawyer, Blair Berk, was effective. Berk got his client a good outcome. Dennis Farina will have to pay $510 in fines and extra for penalties. Farina will have informal probation for the next 24 months.
However, the court will agree to terminate this probation after 1 year if Farina has a clean probation record. During his probation, Farina will be banned from owning, possessing and carrying a firearm in California.
