Jimmy Kimmel and Sarah Silverman split.

Sarah Silverman and Jimmy Kimmel have split up after 5 years of dating. Lewis Kay, Kimmel’s representative and Amy Zvi, Silverman’s representative, have both issued a joint statement that said Jimmy and Sarah had no other comment on this matter.

Earlier this year, People magazine named Jimmy Kimmel and Sarah Silverman as the Funniest Couple Alive in 2008. Silverman, 37, said that their couple relationship worked because they really liked each other. Sarah praised Jimmy as being kind, funny and thoughtful.

Jimmy Kimmel had earlier said that Sarah was funny, smart and good looking. He cracked a joke on himself and said that she liked fat guys, like himself.
