Katrina Hodge/ Combat Barbie is a finalist in Miss England 2008.

Katrina Hodge, 21, a soldier from the UK, was nicknamed as “Combat Barbie”, for saving her fellow compatriots from an Iraqi insurgent. Hodge is now back in the UK. She has won a finalist place to compete in the finals of Miss England 2008.

If Katrina Hodge Becomes Miss England 2008, she will represent England in the Miss World 2008 beauty pageant. Hodge said that she wished to highlight the work of the British Armed Forces.

Hodge is a military clerk with The Adjutant General’s Corps. Her present work is at the Frimley Park Hospital in Camberley. She does part time modeling while maintaining her soldier job. Katrina Hodge has already won the Miss Tunbridge Wells crown.

The Miss England finals will be held on July 18 in London.
