Actors Josh Brolin, Jeffrey Wright and four other crew members of the Oliver Stone directed film, “W.” were arrested this morning in Shreveport, LA.
Shreveport Police were called to Stray Cats Bar at 222 Travis in Downtown Shreveport, Louisiana, just after 2 a.m. Saturday morning. After arriving at the night club police called for backup.
Police say Eric Felland, 29, was arrested for resisting arrest and public intoxication.
Apparently, Josh Brolin, 40, and Jeffrey Wright, 43, were arrested for interfering with police, along with 6 others.
Josh Brolin is in town playing George W. Bush in the movie “W” directed by Oliver Stone. Jeffery Wright, 43, is playing Colin Powell in the film.
The actors allegedly intervened and put up such a fuss that the police at the nightclub actually had to call for backup.
This isn’t the first time Josh Brolin has been in trouble with the law. Back in 2004, Brolin was cited for misdemeanor domestic battery after his wife, actress Diane Lane, called police during an argument at the couple’s home. The couple reconciled.
Josh Brolin, isthe son of actor James Brolin and stepson of Barbra Streisand.
