Nicole Kidman named her first newborn daughter Sunday Rose and astonished the whole world. The baby was born on a Monday and yet she was named Sunday.

Antony Kidman, Nicole Kidman’s father, revealed that the name, Sunday, was first suggested by himself and his wife, Janelle Kidman. Nicole’s parents took their inspirational name from a prominent Australian, Sunday Reed.

Sunday Reed had a 3 way triangle relationship with her arts patron husband and Sidney Nolan, an artist. She was deeply related to art and they thought that was a good name.

Kidman’s baby has the middle name of Rose because that was Keith’s late grandmother’s name. That’s about the long and short of how Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban named their firstborn as Sunday Rose.
